Unable to connect to Parallels Desktop

Si se inicia Parallels Desktop 4.0 y se presenta el error "Unable to connect to Parallels Desktop", es debido a que el archivo /etc/hosts ha sufrido una modificación para determinar el localhost.

Abriendo una terminal (Aplicaciones/Utilidades/Terminal) comprobamos el contenido del archivos y verificamos que exista la siguiente línea:

127.0.0.1        localhost

De no ser así, como “root”, simplemente la agregamos en dicho archivo.
